Bernstine Announces ARLE Funding for Center Township Traffic Safety Project

BUTLER – Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Butler/Lawrence) is pleased to announce the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has awarded Center Township in Butler County $563,970 in Automated Red-Light Enforcement (ARLE) funding. This grant will be used to fully replace the traffic signal equipment at the intersection of Route 8 and Beech Road, ensuring the intersection meets modern-day operational and safety standards.

“Ensuring the safety of our communities is a top priority, and this funding will help modernize traffic signals in Center Township, reducing the risk of accidents and improving overall traffic flow,” said Bernstine. “This investment is a vital step toward improving the safety and mobility of our roadways, and I am proud to support this initiative.”
