Bernstine: Budget Keeps Spending in Check

HARRISBURG – Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Beaver/Butler/Lawrence) today issued the following statement explaining his support for the 2017-18 state budget:

“When families of the 10th District sit down to work through their household budgets, they don’t make plans for excessive spending they can’t afford. State government shouldn’t either. While this plan isn’t perfect, it is certainly a more realistic and responsible plan than what the governor has proposed in past years. The most important point is that it doesn’t reach any deeper into the pockets of our hard-working families.”
